Item Master (ITM) - Sales

  1. Specify this information:
    Minimum Sales Order Quantity
    The minimum quantity the item can be sold in.
    Customer Record Control

    Indicates whether or not the item is restricted to particular customers. Options are:

    • Yes - you can only sell the item to this customer. An item customer record must be set up before you can use this item in the sales process.
    • Optional - if an item customer record has not been set up, a warning message appears when the item is used in the sales process, but you are able to continue processing. You can sell the item to any customer.
    • No - you can sell the item to any customer.
    Unit of Sale
    The unit of measure that the item is sold in. This must already have been set up using Unit of Measure Labels (UOM). Automatic conversion is carried out between this unit of measure and the base item unit.
    Saleable Item
    Check this box if the item is sale-able. If this is not checked it is not possible to use the item on Sales Orders, only Movement Orders.
    Default Salesperson
    The employee to be used as the default salesperson for the item. This must already have been set up using Employees (EMP).
    Default Salesperson Role
    The employee role to be used as the default salesperson for the item.
