Data Access Group

Commonly referred to in SunSystems as DAG. A group of operators with like access permissions to a set of data. DAGs are maintained in User Manager.

The Data Access Group is used to restrict operator access to the data e.g. to an account or customer record. Leave this blank to allow any user to access the record. For further information on controlling access to SunSystems, see Security Console or User Manager Help.

Note: In some cases this may be overridden by the settings in Business Unit Setup.
