Setting the tab order
The default tab order is determined by the order you add the controls to the form. However, you can override the default tab order for controls on the form window and for each tab page.
Note: When creating forms, setting the tab order should
ideally be one of your final tasks.
Whilst amending your forms, use the key to move forward and + to move backward through the controls. This is a good way to test that the controls are in the order you wanted. and + can also be used for maneuvering through grid columns and tab pages.
- Select either the form window or the tab page by clicking its outer edge.
- From the menu select , or use the + keyboard shortcut.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
