Data Item List

Mandatory Data Items

Mandatory data items are displayed with a red bullet. Form Designer does not allow the form to be checked in unless all of the mandatory fields are included on the form.

Filtering the Data Items List

Use the buttons on the Data Item toolbar to customize or filter the data item list:

• Use the Hide Non-Mandatory Data Items button on the Data Item toolbar to view only those data items which are mandatory. This button is disabled for the functions that have no mandatory items.
• Use the Hide Non Entry Data Items button on the Data Item toolbar to show only the entry data items. Entry data items are indicated with check box in the data item list.
• Use the Hide Used Data Items button on the Data Item toolbar to hide the data items that have already been added to the form. Used data items are indicated with minus sign or equal sign in the data item list.
