Checking the Withholding Tax Calculations

As withholding tax is calculated, an audit log is produced that documents the transaction selection and tax calculation processes. You can view this audit log in the SunSystems cobol log folder.

The audit log identifies each of the decisions the tax calculator has taken to determine whether each account, and the selected transactions, are eligible for tax. The tax amounts calculated are also displayed.
