Identifying the Allocation Difference Posting Account

The Allocation Difference Account Entry dialog prompts you to enter a missing chart of account code as part of the Account Allocation posting process. The dialog only appears if the allocation process needs to post either a discount amount or exchange gain or loss, and does not have the required account.

You may be prompted to enter one of the following account codes:

• Input Discount Account
• Output Discount Account
• Realized Net Gain Account
• Realized Exchange Loss Account
