Selecting the Ledger Entry Form for a Journal Type

When you select a journal type, the Form Name identified in Journal Types (JNT) is used to determine the Ledger Entry form to display. If a default form has not been identified for the journal type, the list of Ledger Entry forms that can be used for the journal type is displayed, so that you can select the form you want to use.

  1. Run Ledger Entry (LEN). The Ledger Entry - Journal Type form is displayed.
  2. Select a journal type.
  3. Optionally specify a user as the journal source.
  4. Click OK.
  5. If a default Ledger Entry form has not been selected for the journal type you have chosen, the Find Form list is displayed.
  6. Identify and select the appropriate form for the journal type.
  7. Click OK to display the form.
