Rerunning Ledger Conversion

Ledger Conversion (LCN) contains a Validate Only option that allows you to run the conversion process without posting the conversion transactions. This is extremely useful because it allows you to identify any errors before you generate and post transactions to the target business unit.

You can run Ledger Conversion (LCN) any number of times with the Validate Only option set until you have corrected all of the errors.

Once you have corrected the identified errors, you can rerun Ledger Conversion (LCN) to generate and post the transactions.

You may want to run it several times to convert the ledger transactions, archive transaction and budget transactions separately. The ledger conversion function remembers the settings you entered until the conversion process is complete.

Note: If you want to restart the process with an entirely new set of conversion rules, you must delete the target business unit and start again.
