General

  1. Click the General tab in the Asset Note Setup dialog.
  2. Specify this information in the Identification section:
    Serial Number

    A serial number for the asset or enhancement.

    Description 1-10

    Up to 10 additional text fields to hold descriptive information on the asset. The description you enter appears on the Asset Notes Report.

  3. Specify this information in the Maintenance section:
    Maintenance Frequency

    The frequency with which maintenance is required on the asset.

    Maintenance Description

    The type of maintenance required.

    Location - Address

    The address code that identifies the location of the asset. Address codes are defined using Addresses (ADD).

    Location - Employee

    An employee code, for example of the person responsible for the asset. Employee codes are defined using Employees (EMP).

  4. Save your changes.
