Financial Table Formats

A Financial Table Format (FTF) is used to combine a set of rows defined by Financial Table Rows (FTR), with a set of columns defined by Financial Table Columns (FTC), to produce a financial tables report.

A table format can combine any set of row instructions, and any set of column instructions. However, it is important that the combination of rows and columns is logical. If it is not, then when you create the report using Financial Tables (FTB), an error is detected and an error message displayed.

For example, a financial table can identify accounts either down the page or across the page in columns, not both. So, you cannot use Account Codes as the basis for both the rows and columns.

Financial Tables can be used with the Fixed Asset Register.
