Financial Calendars (FCS)

  1. Open Financial Calendars (FCS) from the main SunSystems menu.
  2. Specify this information:
    Calendar Code
    A mandatory calendar code used to identify the financial calendar record. A maximum of 15 characters is allowed.
    Status
    The status of the financial calendar record, which automatically defaults to Draft.
    Default Language
    The default language of the financial calendar record.
    Name
    A mandatory name for this record.
    Lookup
    A lookup code can be used to find a record, as an alternative to the record code. It is often set to a shortened version of the description. It is particularly useful if a record is often referred to using different codes. For example, the Chart of Accounts code for Fuel Expenses is 75201 and the Lookup Code is set to FUELEXP.
    Description
    A mandatory description for this record.
