Assigning a transformation

SSC transformations defined in SSC Transformation Designer, can be included as part of the processing by the subscriber business unit.

A transformation is selected while configuring a subscriber business unit. This means any published data is transformed by the subscriber business unit before it is processed.

You can attach a transformation to a specific business unit, or share it over several business units, depending on your business requirements:

  1. After you have selected a SunSystems object in Enterprise Data Subscription Configuration (ECS), click Assign BU to assign a subscriber business unit to the SunSystems object. The Enterprise Data Select Subscriber BU dialog is displayed.
  2. Ensure you have selected a subscriber business unit, and click Assign Transformation.
  3. Select a transformation from the list, and click OK.
  4. If required, select another SunSystems object, and click Assign Transformation to assign further transformations.
    Note: Only one transformation for one type of inbound SunSystems EDM BOD can be attached to a business unit.
  5. Click OK to return to the Enterprise Data Subscription Configuration (ECS) dialog.
  6. Click Exit to complete the Subscription.
