Creating a data access group to form a map
This function allows you to allocate a form, which you must have already designed using the Form Designer tool, to the results of your drill. That is, the results can be displayed in a format which you define.
The form description is mapped to a data access group, thus enabling you to associate a different form to operators of different data access groups. Data access groups (DAGs) are a group of operators with like access permissions to a set of data. DAGs are maintained in User Manager.
To define a form mapping:
- Ensure the relevant drill is open. In the Drill Edit dialog, two columns are displayed.
- In the Data Access Group column, click on the Click here to add an entry text. A list of data access groups are displayed in a drop-down list.
- Click on the required line.
- In the Form Description column, click on the Click here to complete entry text. A list of existing forms are displayed in a drop-down list.
- Click on the required line.
- When you have entered all required mappings, from the menu select to save your drill.
