Drill Association Designer overview

Drill Association Designer (DAD) is part of the suite of user tools introduced with SunSystems.

These user tools provide you with the ability to customize the system to reflect your data flows and terminology, and thereby seamlessly integrate SunSystems into your business.

As the name suggests, Drill Association Designer (DAD) allows for the creation and maintenance of SunSystems drills. Using the simplicity of point-and-click and drag-and-drop methods, it combines the power of the SunSystems data dictionary with an uncomplicated WYSIWYG layout and design tool.

With Drill Association Designer (DAD) you can:

  • Select data items to be used in your drill.
  • Specify drill filters and the type of drill to be created.
  • Specify runtime parameters.
  • Select a form to display the results extracted by your drill, dependent on your Data Access Group.
Note:  Filters are designed using Filter Designer (FLD).
