Configuring the email settings
Note: Clicking Default resets the property to the system default value.
To configure the email settings for SSC:
- Open Configuration Manager (CGM).
- Select SSC > Email.
- Configure the system settings:
- Authentication Type
- Select BASIC or OAUTH2
- Email Character Set
- The character set of the email notification. For example, UTF-8.
- Email Server
- The address of the server used to configure email.
- Email Server Port
- The port number used to configure SMTP email service. The default value is 25.
- Enable OCSP
- Select No to disable the OCSP certificate checks. The default value is Yes.
- Enable STARTTLS
- Select No to disable STARTTLS. The default value is Yes.
- From Email Address
- The address that the Transfer Desk email notification is sent from.
- Oauth2 Client ID
- Specify your OAUTH2 client ID.
- Oauth2 Client Secret
- Specify your OAUTH2 password.
- Oauth2 Provider
- Select O365.
- Oauth2 Scopes
- Specify https://outlook.office365.com/.default.
- Oauth2 Tenant ID
- Specify your OAUTH2 Tenant ID.
- Password
- The password for the email notification account.
- Use SSL
- Select Yes to use SSL for email. The default value is No.
- User Name
- The user name for the email notification account.
- Save your changes.
