Configuring the email settings

Note: Clicking Default resets the property to the system default value.

To configure the email settings for SSC:

  1. Open Configuration Manager (CGM).
  2. Select SSC > Email.
  3. Configure the system settings:
    Authentication Type
    Select BASIC or OAUTH2
    Email Character Set
    The character set of the email notification. For example, UTF-8.
    Email Server
    The address of the server used to configure email.
    Email Server Port
    The port number used to configure SMTP email service. The default value is 25.
    Enable OCSP
    Select No to disable the OCSP certificate checks. The default value is Yes.
    Enable STARTTLS
    Select No to disable STARTTLS. The default value is Yes.
    From Email Address
    The address that the Transfer Desk email notification is sent from.
    Oauth2 Client ID
    Specify your OAUTH2 client ID.
    Oauth2 Client Secret
    Specify your OAUTH2 password.
    Oauth2 Provider
    Select O365.
    Oauth2 Scopes
    Specify https://outlook.office365.com/.default.
    Oauth2 Tenant ID
    Specify your OAUTH2 Tenant ID.
    Password
    The password for the email notification account.
    Use SSL
    Select Yes to use SSL for email. The default value is No.
    User Name
    The user name for the email notification account.
  4. Save your changes.
