Configuring remote process settings

Note: Some properties require the SunSystems services to be restarted for changes to take effect. Where indicated by the Restart Services icon, use the Restart Services application to reset the services.
Note: Clicking Default resets the property to the system default value.

To configure the remote process settings for SSC:

  1. Open the Configuration Manager (CGM).
  2. Select SSC > Remote Process.
  3. Configure the system settings:
    RMI Registry Port
    Specify the port for the RMI registry, which publishes remote execution information. The value for this port must be the same on server and client installations, because it is used by server applications to create the registry, and used by client applications to find that registry.
    Restart services.
    SASJI Abort Attempts
    Specify the maximum number of attempts to abort before the attempt is abandoned. The default value is 20.
  4. Save your changes.
