Changing the current accounting period

You can also change the current period for Financials using Ledger Setup (LES). For Order Fulfilment modules you can also use Inventory Business Setup (IBS), Purchase Business Setup (PBS) and Sales Business Setup (SBS) as appropriate.

The current period is the default accounting period used for posting journals and transactions. It also appears as the default period when printing reports, calculating depreciation, and so on.
