Control desk requirements
You must meet these requirements before running a control desk.
Before you can run a control desk, you must first set up:
- A filter using Filter Designer (FLD) which defines the selection criteria to be applied, whether the selection criteria is fixed or can be entered at run-time, the sequence the data is to be presented in and the default display form.
- A drill association using Drill Association Designer (DAD), if you want to be able to drill through the extracted data.
- The run-time selection criteria form, if it is required, which is generated via Form Designer (FRD).
- The display form which determines how the extracted data is displayed which is also generated via Form Designer (FRD).
SunSystems is delivered with several default filters and drills which provide a 'starter pack'.
