Selecting control desk filters

This form appears when you select any of the following SunSystems menu options, depending on the SunSystems module you are using:

  • Purchase Receipt Note Inquiry (PRQ)
  • Inventory Costing (ICN)
  • Ledger Inquiry (LAQ)
  • Movement Inquiry (MOQ)
  • Sales Order Inquiry (SOQ)
  • Purchase Inquiry (POQ).
  1. Specify this information:
    Filter Type Code

    The type of filter, or drill, you want to use for the control desk. This reduces the list of filters available in the Filter Name field.

    Filter Name

    The name of the filter to be used by the control desk to extract data. The filter must have been defined using Filter Designer (FLD).

    Note:  You can also select a drill association.
    Description

    The description of the filter or drill association.

    Form Name

    The output form to be used to display the extracted data. This form must have been referenced in the filter and defined using Form Designer.

    Program Name Value

    The name of a batch process to which some or all of the extracted data items can be passed for additional processing.
