Setting up a multi-currency business unit
When you set up a business unit using Business Unit Setup, you define the overall
multi-currency processing environment and rules.
In your multi-currency environment, you must set up a multi-currency business unit and define the currency rules.
These can be broken down into the following categories:
- Defining the use of the currency values.
- Setting the currency balancing requirements.
- Setting the currency posting rules.
You must also set some multi-currency processing options for the Financials suite using Ledger Setup.
