Defining an additional code list

Complete these steps to define an additional code list.
  1. Open Additional Code Lists (ACL).
  2. Complete this information:
    Code List
This is the name of the additional code list and must be entered.
    Fall Back Language
Select a language to be used for which you are serialized for.
    Name
A descriptive label to be displayed when an additional code list is available. You can maintain the additional code list name in corresponding languages nominated for the code list.
    Lookup
A lookup code can be used to find a record, as an alternative to the record code. It is often set to a shortened version of the description. It is particularly useful if a record is often referred to using different codes. For example, the Chart of Accounts code for Fuel Expenses is 75201 and the Lookup Code is set to FUELEXP.
    Language 1
The language the list is to be populated in. This automatically defaults to the administrator's language.
