Managing action permissions

Action permissions allow you to configure which user groups can access actions within specified business units for certain system functions.

  1. Log on as an administrator user.
  2. From the Groups tab right-click the required group and select Edit Group from the context menu.
  3. Click the SunSystems Action Permissions option on the left hand menu. A list of associated business unit codes is displayed.
  4. Click Add to select the business unit where you want to add actions. The Select Business Unit dialog is displayed.
  5. Select the business unit to use, then click OK. The Action Permissions Setup dialog is displayed.
  6. For each function or sub-function in the left hand menu, select the actions you want to allow.

    By default, all actions in the list are checked.

  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click OK.
