Directory Service Authentication user settings

When adding and editing users the Directory Service Authentication user settings are as follows.

Note: These fields are only activated after setting up a Directory Service.

At least one of the options General > Standard Authentication, Windows Authentication > Enable Windows authentication for this user, or Directory Service Authentication > Enable Directory Service authentication for this user must be selected, otherwise this user cannot access the system.

  1. Specify this information:
    Enable Directory Service authentication for this user
    Check this check box if you want to use Directory Service authentication.
    Directory Service Account
    Click the Query button to display the Map Directory Service Account dialog. Enter the required Account, Search/Find and highlight the required user name, and then click OK.
  2. Save your changes.
