Adding shortcuts to the menu

  1. Access User Group Menu Designer (UGM).
  2. Select the menu item group to which you want to add the shortcut.
  3. Click the Add URL Link, Add External File, Add External Application, or Add Report toolbar button or select the equivalent menu option as appropriate.
    Note: Alternatively, you can right-click in the menu pane and select Add URL Link, Add External File, Add External Application, or Add Report as appropriate.
  4. Ensure the required properties are set for the new shortcut.

Users who are members of the user group that has been changed and are currently logged in must restart SunSystems for changes made in User Group Menu Designer (UGM) to take effect.
