Running a profile

To run transfer or automation in Transfer Desk Web:
  1. Open Transfer Profiles (TRP).
  2. Click Refresh Profiles.
    The list of available profiles and automations is updated.
  3. Select the profile that you want to run.
  4. Optionally, click Edit Profiles to change any profile settings.
    Note: You must be either a SunSystems Connect Administrator or Designer to create or edit a profile.
  5. Enter any source and target runtime parameters that have not already been set up in the profile or that may be overridden. Mandatory fields vary depending on each profile.
  6. Reset any local file parameters to reference the same file in a central file repository. The central file repository must be on a Windows server.
  7. Click Run Profile to execute the profile.
    The Transfer Results dialog is displayed.
    Note: Click Close to close the Transfer Results dialog while the profile is running, without terminating the process.
    Note: Any XML file that does not specify the encoding used is assumed to be encoded via UFT-8 (ASCII) when processing via Transfer Desk.
  8. Click the link to view the profile results in Transfer History Viewer.
