Editing fail on errors

In Automation Designer you can edit the settings that control how errors are handled in the processing of profiles. As well as selecting profiles for inclusion in an automation, and amending runtime parameters of profiles within the automation, you can control what happens when a profile in an automation fails.

  1. From the hierarchy pane in Transfer Desk, select an automation and click the Edit button in the Automation section to the right of the list. This opens the Automation Designer.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Select Fail on Error if you want the automation profile to stop executing the profiles within it when one fails. Select Ignore if Invalid if you want the automation profile to ignore a failed profile, and to continue executing the remaining profiles within it.
Note: Selecting Ignore if Invalid may cause issues with data dependency if the execution order of your profiles is important.
  4. Save your changes.
