Amending profiles

To change an existing import, export, process, internal transfer or external transfer profile:

  1. Select a profile from the hierarchy pane in Transfer Desk. Click Edit in the relevant profile section to the right of the list. This opens the relevant profile designer.
  2. If required:
    1. Change the profile Description.
    2. Select a different Target Component or Source Component, Source Data Format or Target Data Format or Transformation.
    3. Change the runtime parameters.
    Note: If you amend the Source Component or Target Component, all further details must be redefined for the new component. Likewise, if you change the Source Data Format or Target Data Format, you must redefine all related runtime parameters, attached transformations and any other settings (filtering, summarizing, sorting).
  3. Click OK.
