Changing the date at login

The login date must be in the format displayed in the Login Date dialog; therefore, you are recommended to select the required date from the calendar provided in the Login Date dialog. Other date formats can be used elsewhere within SunSystems functions, if they are defined appropriately in Business Unit Setup as described below.

Note: The Login Date form may not be displayed, depending on your user setup in User Manager or Security Console.

To change this date when logging in:

  1. Click on the drop-down date selector button (Windows client) or click the Date field (Web client and Infor Workspace).
  2. Use the calendar to navigate to the required date.
  3. Click the required date to select it. In the Windows client, click Update. The calendar is closed.

The default date format is dd/mm/yyyy where dd=day, mm=month and yyyy=year.

You can change the date format and the date separator for each of your Business Units by using Business Unit Setup.

You can enter dates with or without separators, for example, 010220 or 01022020. Alternatively, click the drop-down arrow, or in the Windows client, use the F4 key to display the calendar and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to select the required date.

Note: When you enter two digit years up to and including 68, for example, 28/02/68, the year is automatically prefixed by 20, for example, 28/02/2068. However, when you enter two digit years after and including 69, for example, 28/02/69, the year is automatically prefixed by 19, for example, 28/02/1969.
  4. Click OK to accept the date.
