Opening an audit log

When you open Audit Viewer (SSCAVW), an audit log is opened by default. This is the log for the server to which the client is currently connected.

Opening an Audit Log Locally

You can also access an audit log file from a specific user. To do this click Open on the toolbar or use File > Open to display the Open dialog. Navigate to the audit log file you require. Click Open. The audit log is displayed, showing the events therein together with the date/time they occurred.

Opening an Audit Log on a Remote Server

If you are working in an environment with more than one application server it is possible to connect to an audit log on a remote server. Click Connect on the toolbar or use File > Connect to connect to an audit log file on a remote server. The Connect dialog is displayed. The server name specified during installation is displayed by default, this can be changed if required. Click OK.
