Generating schemas

System administrators can generate schemas which hold method characteristics and inbuilt validation.

Select a method and click the Generate Input Schema or the Generate Output Schema button. The Specify a file for the input/output schema dialog is displayed. Navigate to the appropriate location and type a name for the schema in the File name box, with an extension of .xml. For example, Itemcreate.xml. A file is located in the location specified.

Schema files generated can be viewed using Notepad or a similar application, or over the Internet.
