Report schedules

Use Report Schedules (RMC) to create and run reports automatically at a specified time on a one off or repeating basis. Once created, schedules can be amended and multiple reports can be added to the same schedule using the toolbar actions.

Note: Only standalone reports can be scheduled.

Process reports must be initiated from SunSystems processes and cannot be scheduled. For that reason it is recommended that process reports are deployed to the hidden Central Files folder to prevent selection from Report Manager or from the Add New Job to Schedule dialog.

To set up a schedule, select Report Schedules (RMC) from the menu. From the toolbar select Add Schedule or New Job, then Add New Schedule. The Add New Schedule dialog is displayed. From here enter the required information in all the mandatory fields and click OK.

Modifying a Schedule

To edit a schedule, from Report Schedules select the schedule to be amended and select Edit from the toolbar.

To copy a schedule, from Report Schedules select the schedule to be copied and select Copy from the toolbar. Enter a new name for the copied schedule to ensure it is unique.

To delete a schedule, from Report Schedules select the schedule to be deleted and select Delete from the toolbar. A warning message is displayed so you can confirm this action before it is carried out.
