Migrating Reports

To run reports in Report Manager (RMA), the reports need to be migrated to the latest schema version. You must be a member of the Reporting Administrator group to use this function.

To migrate reports, from the Tools menu select Migrate Reports. A Confirmation Migration dialog is displayed asking if you want to migrate all reports, select Yes. A progress bar is then displayed showing the number of reports that have been processed and the number left to complete.

Once all reports have been processed, a Migration Report is generated. This report lists all the reports that are migrated and whether the migration is successful or not.

Migration information is also written to a log file saved to Report Store/Central Files/System Logs folders.

Any reports that fail migration must be opened, corrected and redeployed in Report Designer.
