Adding Linked Reports

Select the New Linked Report option from the toolbar to create a linked report.

A linked report is a report which has its own settings and properties, but this report links to the definition of another report.

Typically, you might want to create a linked report from a parameterized report. You can change and save the parameters in the linked report without altering the parameters in the original report.

Adding Links

As an administrator, you can create linked reports from and within any group folder or any individual folder. From within Report Manager, users without administrator rights can see all group folders to which their User Group membership allows them access. However, only they can create a linked report based on another report in their own folder, or create a linked report based on one in a group folder, which they can modify and store in their own individual folder.

As the Report Administrator, you can create links from any individual user's folder and from any group folders to any other folders, group or individual.
