Viewing a Report

To view a report, select the report to be run by clicking on the report name required.

The Report Parameters page is displayed which shows the name and description of the selected report.

Click on the Report Output tab and change any options as required. For example you can change the Output Format, Output Filename, and so on.

Select the required format for the report from the drop down list. For example, you can choose to produce the report as a web page, or as a spreadsheet.

Click Run to run the report.

A message is displayed informing you that the report is being generated.

Viewing your report output

Once the report has been generated, the report results are displayed. If you chose to produce the report as a web page, the Reporting page is displayed which contains the following:

  • Navigation arrows to navigate through the pages of the report
  • Percentage to zoom in and out of the report
  • Find and Next fields to search for a word or words
  • Export drop down box to export the data in the report to a file
  • Refresh to update the data in the report
  • Help to display the Help file.
Note: If you re-deploy your report you can simply refresh the output window using Refresh button from the Toolbar.
Note: If you run a report as a web page from a function, for example Trial Balance, you must turn off pop-up blockers.

Documents will usually output as PDF to the Output folder, therefore you will need a suitable PDF viewing application to be able to open these.
