Inventory Count Movement Type

All the fields on the movement type apply to an order created by an inventory count.

The following must be considered:

• A movement type used within inventory count cannot be of the transfer type. That is, the Receipt or Issue field on the movement type is set to Both.
• A movement order of the receipt type is used to write-on inventory.
• A separate order of the issue type is used to write-off inventory.
• It is recommended that allocations are performed at the order entry stage.
