Clearing down Audit Data

After you have extracted the audit data and produced the output file, you can clear down data that is no longer required.

Note:  Retention periods must be taken into consideration before data is cleared. These are shown on the Data Audit Maintenance Plan.

Select Data Audit Clear Down (DAL) from SunSystems to access the Business Unit Group Selection form. This lists the domain and all live business unit groups, including those that are offline. However, if the business unit group is offline a warning message is displayed.

Select the required Business Unit Group to display the Data Audit Clear Down form. Enter the criteria in the following fields for the data to be cleared down. You can enter some or all of this criteria.
