Setting up the Data Audit Configuration

The Data Audit Configuration enables you to select and activate tables for audit and assign Data Audit Maintenance Plans to specific tables.

The Configuration function dynamically generates triggers on the table to be audited for the actions selected for auditing, that is, insert, update or delete.

The triggers store data into a single 'keyed' audit table in binary form which are not readable by the user.

Select Data Audit Configuration (DAC) from SunSystems to access the Business Unit Group Selection form. This lists the Domain and all Live Business Unit Groups, including those that are offline. However, if you select a Business Unit Group that is offline a warning message is displayed.

Note:  Store and Archived Business Unit Groups are not listed as they cannot be audited.

Select the required Business Unit Group to display the Data Audit Configuration Setup. All available tables are displayed from which you can filter to make selection more manageable.
