Clearing down the interface tables

When a process report is run, for example a Trial Balance report, records are written to a temporary interface table and the unique id of the process is passed to enable the correct data set to be selected in reporting. You can then clear down the data that is no longer required in the interface tables by running Clear Interface Tables (CIT).

To clear down the interface tables, highlight the table to be cleared and select Run Cleardown. You can clear multiple tables by holding down the Ctrl key and selecting the required tables to be cleared.

You can also choose how many days of data you want to clear by updating Age (days). To update this option, select Amend and manually enter the number of days of data you would like to retain.

Note:  Although some interface tables are business unit specific, Clear Interface Tables (CIT) clears down data from the interface tables for all business units.
