Upgrading Designer Edition to the latest monthly release

Note: Before you start ensure that all SunSystems services have been stopped in Services application.
  1. From the Infor Customer Portal, download the latest SunSystems Designer Edition release.
    Note: For more information, see Opening SunSystems Designer Edition.
  2. Go to the SqlServerDatabaseUtilites folder.
  3. To open SunSystems Database Utilities, run the DBUTILITY.EXE file.
  4. On the Upgrade tab, select A SunSystems Domain database.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Specify the Instance Name and Database Name.
  7. Click Next.
  8. After the process is complete, click Back.
  9. Select A Landlord database and click Next.
  10. Specify the Instance Name and Database Name.
  11. Click Next.
  12. In the latest SunSystems Designer Edition release root folder, run the setup.hta file.
  13. Click Install SunSystems Software.
  14. On the SunSystems InstallShield Wizard window, click Next.
    Note: After you upgrade SunSystems Designer Edition, you must re-enable your selected languages.
