Connection to ION

Use these procedures to create connection points and data flows in ION for the SunSystems Cloud - Infor LSP integration. Provisioning of ION, SunSystems Cloud, and Infor LSP is performed by the Cloud team. For more information, see KB3665761 in the Customer Portal.
Note: SunSystems Cloud and Infor LSP require separate connection points.

Creating a connection point

  1. In Infor OS Portal, select OS > ION > Connect > Connection Points.
  2. Click +Add and select Infor Application.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify the name of the connection point.
    Location
    Select the location.
    Logical ID Type
    Specify the logical ID type.
    Database Driver
    Select the database driver.
    Host Name
    Specify the host name.
    Port Number
    Specify the port number.
    Schema Name
    Specify the schema name.
    User Name
    Specify the user name.
    Password
    Specify your password.
  4. Click Save.

Copying an existing connection point

  1. In Infor OS Portal, select OS > ION > Connect > Connection Points.
  2. To copy an existing connection point, hover over the connection point and click Duplicate.
  3. In the Name field, specify the connection point name.
  4. Click Save.

Creating a data flow

  1. Open Infor Customer Portal.
  2. In the Search field, specify KB3665761 and press Enter.
  3. Click SunSystems Cloud LSP integration information.
  4. To download the data flow templates, click SUN_LSP_Templates.zip in the Attachments area.
  5. Browse to the downloaded file and extract it.
  6. In Infor OS Portal, select OS > ION > Connect > Data Flows.
  7. To upload the data flow template, click Import.
  8. Browse to the SunSystems_To_LSP.xml file and click OK.
  9. Click Activate.

Creating a data flow for implementations that don't use ISO2 country codes

  1. Open Infor Customer Portal.
  2. In the Search field, specify KB3665761 and press Enter.
  3. Click SunSystems Cloud LSP integration information.
  4. In the Attachments area, download the SUN_LSP_Templates.zip file.
  5. Browse to the downloaded file and extract it.
  6. In Infor OS Portal, select OS > ION > Connect > Mappings.
  7. To upload the mapping template, click Import.
  8. Browse to the Country_Code_Mapping.xml file and click OK.
  9. Click Approve.
  10. Select OS > ION > Connect > Data Flows.
  11. To upload the data flow template, click Import.
  12. Browse to the SunSystems_To_LSP_Country_Mapping.xml file and click OK.
  13. Click Activate.
