The EBITDA widget is a financial performance metric that measures operating earnings independent of financing structure and non-cash accounting decisions. The widget shows a bar chart in which the horizontal axis represents a time period or analytical dimension and the vertical axis represents the EBITDA value. You can filter data based on these fields:

Query logic

EBITDA = Operating Profit + Depreciation and Amortization

Operating Profit = Revenue - Cost of Sales - Operating Cost

The EBITDA widget retrieves account balances from SunSystems Cloud. The widget calculates earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization by aggregating revenue and adding back financing and non-cash costs. Account groupings are defined through the hierarchical relationship between Analysis Dimensions and Analysis Codes.
