Quick Ratio

View the company's ability to meet short-term liabilities with the most liquid assets only.

The Quick Ratio widget is a financial metric that evaluates the company's financial liquidity with available assets such as cash and trade receivables. By excluding inventory, the ratio focuses on assets that can be converted into cash. This provides a more conservative measure of liquidity. The widget shows a line chart in which the horizontal axis represents a time period or analysis dimension and the vertical axis represents the quick ratio value. You can filter data based on these fields:

  • Period
  • Year
  • Ledger Analysis

Query logic

Quick Ratio = Quick Assets / Current Liabilities

The Quick Ratio retrieves balances from SunSystems Cloud to calculate the quick ratio. Balances of accounts that are linked to selected Quick Asset Analysis Codes, such as cash and receivables, are aggregated and divided by balances that are associated with selected Current Liability Analysis Codes. Account groupings are defined through the hierarchical relationship between Analysis Dimensions and Analysis Codes.
