Properties bar
The Properties bar shows all the properties available for whichever control(s) you have selected.
Changing a Property
A property can be changed by firstly clicking in the Value column alongside the property. Depending on the type property, you can change the property in a number of ways;
- Either enter a new value
- Or select a value from the list.
- If you are changing a font or color property click the down arrow to display a dialog where you can change the property.
- You can change the Mandatory Property from False to True if you require the specified control to be mandatory at run-time.
If the property value has a gray background, this indicates that it is disabled and therefore cannot be changed.
Note: After you have changed a property you must validate it by either pressing or by clicking in another area of the Form Designer application.
