Aged Payables
The widget shows a bar chart of unpaid invoices that are grouped by the Business Unit (BU), Supplier, and Aged Date fields. The horizontal axis of the chart is divided into these time buckets:
- Current
- 1–30 Days
- 31–60 Days
- 61–90 Days
- 91+ Days
Each bar represents the total amount that is owed to a supplier within a specific time range. You can click a bar to view detailed invoice transactions, which are displayed in a sortable grid with these columns:
- Invoice Reference
- Due Date
- Aged Day
From the grid, you can open the Purchase Invoice Entry (PIE) function to view individual invoice records. The vertical axis of the chart shows the owed amount and the currency symbol that is set for the selected business unit.
To control access and ensure that the supplier visibility aligns with user permissions, configure Data Access Groups (DAG).
The Aged Payables widget query logic
The widget shows outstanding supplier invoices that are grouped into time buckets based on the difference between the selected aged date and each invoice’s due date. Data is retrieved from the ledger, targeting invoices that are approved but their total amount of the Allocation Marker value in the Ledger table is not equal to the values of the Allocated, Paid, and Correction fields. You can apply dynamic filters for the Business Unit (BU), Supplier, and Aged Date fields. Those filters enable users to tailor the view to specific organizational segments or vendors. The widget calculates how many days each invoice is overdue and assigns the invoice to the appropriate time bucket. The widget aggregates the total amount per bucket and shows the amount with the base currency symbol. You can click columns to view detailed invoice transactions in a sortable grid. The grid includes an invoice reference (hyperlinked to open in SunSystems Cloud), amount, due date, and aged day. The widget refreshes in real time to reflect the latest selections.
