Filter Designer window

The three main areas are:

• The Data Item Hierarchy: Used to restrict data items displayed to a manageable subset.
• The Data Item List: After you have created a new, or opened an existing, filter the relevant data items for that function are displayed.
• The Filter Edit Area: Used to create and amend your filters.

Also displayed are menus, a toolbar, and a status bar that displays the current operator ID, current business unit, and keyboard settings such as CAPS and NUM lock.

After a filter is open, the Data Item Hierarchy, Data Item List and Filter Edit Area are populated with information about the current filter.
