Setting up Financial Table Rows

A Financial Table report is similar to a spreadsheet in that it contains a series of rows and columns.

Financial Table Rows (FTR) is used to define a set of financial table report rows. A Financial Table report is made up of many different types of rows, for example heading rows, data rows and total rows.

The columns of a financial table report are defined using Financial Table Columns (FTC).

Note:  The account data being reported on can either appear in the columns of the report, or in the report rows. This is referred to as the row or column basis.

The Financial Table Rows form contains:

  • Header Information
  • General
  • Options
  1. Select Financial Table Rows FTR from the main SunSystems menu.
  2. Specify this information:
    Row Code

A code to uniquely identify a set of financial table rows.

    Row Number

The sequence number of the table row. When you add new row numbers, you should space them at intervals, for example every 50 or 100. This allows you to insert new rows without having to redefine existing ones. The row number determines the sequence the rows are printed in the financial table report, so this number is important.
