Setting up Data Audit
          Data Audit enables you to audit many of the data tables in the business unit groups and the domain in your system.
         
         
          Note:  Data must be input in order for data audit data to be extracted.
         
         To set up a maintenance plan you must define:
- Actions to audit. That is, insert, update and delete.
 - Retention periods.
 
          Note:  To be able to setup and maintain Data Auditing you must be a member of the main Data Access Group on the Maintenance Plan and a member of the Extract and Clear Down Data Access Group.
         
         Complete these steps to set up a maintenance plan.
          Note: These steps must be repeated for each business unit group or domain for which data auditing is required.
         
         - Set up the in which you can assign maintenance plans to specific tables. This activates the audit actions defined on the Maintenance Plan for the table it is attached to.
 - Run the . This results in an Excel spreadsheet output file containing the audit data which you can then sort, interrogate and print, as required.
 - Clear down data which is no longer required.
