Managing formulae files in Designer Edition
- To import formulae files to the SunSystems Designer Edition, perform these steps:
- On your local drive, browse to the SunSystems Designer Edition folder and create a folder within it.
- Copy formulae files that you exported from SunSystems Cloud and paste them into the created folder.
- Open the SunSystems Designer Edition Web Client.
- In the User ID field, specify ADMIN and click Sign In.
- In the Search field, specify SEG and select User groups (SEG).
- Select SunSystems Users > ZZZZZ.
- In the Permissions menu, select Function.
- Select the Formula Designer Import Export (FDE) check box.
- In the Actions menu, select Enable.
- In the User menu, select Sign out.
- Sign in to SunSystems Designer Edition Web Client.
- In the User ID field, specify ZZZ and click Sign In.
- In the Search field, specify FDE and select Formula Designer Import Export (FDE).
- In the File Path field, specify the path to the folder that you created in step a.
- Click Import and then click Yes.
- Open Formula Designer Rich Client with the same server on which the SunSystems Designer Edition is installed.
Recently imported formulae elements are available in the Variable list. You can use them to create new formulae.
- To export formulae files from the SunSystems Designer Edition, perform these steps:
- Open the SunSystems Designer Edition Web Client.
- In the Search field, specify FDE and select Formula Designer Import Export (FDE).
- Click Export and specify the path to a local folder on the Designer Edition server.
Note: You can use the same folder as in step 1 or select another folder.
- Copy the files that you downloaded in step 1b and paste them into a local drive on the machine that has access to SunSystems Cloud.
