Tailoring payload definitions

You can tailor the fields within payload definitions by excluding fields which are not relevant to the user.

Navigate to the payload definition you require by selecting the component and method. Click Display Input Payload Definition or Display Output Payload Definition. The selected payload definition is displayed. Navigate the hierarchy tree and select the field you require. Properties for the field you select are displayed.

Click the Mark as Unused button to mark payload items as unused. You can mark an entire payload, or selected nodes within a payload, or individual fields within a payload/node.

Click the Mark as Used button to mark as item as used, that was previously marked as unused.

Click the Mark all as Unused button to mark the selected node and all fields in that node as unused. You can then use the Mark all as used button to undo this or you can use the Mark as used button just to select individual items as used.

Note: If you highlight a node and click the Mark all as unused button all columns in other nodes that are the same field type are marked as unused as well. We recommend using the Mark as unused button instead.
