Deleting a bill of materials

  1. Select Bill of Materials Manager (BOM) from the SunSystems menu.
  2. Select the Parent Item Code.
  3. Select a Bill of Materials Version.
  4. From the Action menu select Delete.
  5. If the Bill of Materials Version has component details then the following message is displayed, This Bill of Materials Version has Components, Continue?
  6. Select Yes to delete the Bill of Materials Version and any components.
    If the Bill of Materials Version has been used for a sales kit on a sales order the following message is displayed, Cannot delete this version as it has been used on a Sales Order.
